Yesterday our Nā Koa Kai Canoe Club nā ʻōpio (youths) took out 25 Qualcomm employees for a Team Building session in our canoes. The Qualcomm employees brook their group up into teams of 5. After learning some Hawaiian culture and protocol, we taught them about water safety and basic paddle stroke technique. They then paddled around Mission Bay Park for a while. But then it got competitive when they decided to race each other! It was a great day for all of us!
