Aloha! Come talk story with us at the Pacific Islander Festival Saturday & Sunday September 26th & 27th. You can catch up with what we have been doing with our Hawaiian outrigger canoe club and cultural immersion program here in San Diego. We took our youths to Maui Hawaii this summer for 10 days. They paddled with our sistah canoe club on Maui, they got to plant koa trees, work on an ancient fish pond, work on a kalo lo’i, take the ali’i tour of Lahaina Town, zip-line, and so much more! Wait until you hear what we have planned for next year, ya! Perhaps you have youths who are interested in Hawaiian outrigger canoe paddling and the Hawaiian culture?
