The San Diego Shaka Fest for the seventh consecutive year will include the NÄ Koa Kai Canoe Club Keiki Heihei Wa’a (Youth Canoe Regatta) which has been a spring tradition since 2011 and is the only outrigger canoe regatta on the U.S. Mainland for youths only. In 2013 we expanded the event to include the Stand-Up For The Kids SUP Race youths and adults. In 2014 we included a health wellness fair and rebranded the entire event with a new name called the San Diego Shaka Fest. In 2020 this event will once again take place at beautiful Mission Bay Park in San Diego, California. What makes this nonprofit event special, however, are the children. While the adult events carry themselves financially, the youth event entry fees are set with the priority of allowing all children to participate regardless of financial background. This can only be achieved with the support of our community. On behalf of the NÄ Koa Kai Canoe Club Board of Directors and the many children who ultimately benefit, thank you for considering one of our sponsorship opportunities.
